The partnership principle in cohesion policy

I believe that the partnership principle is fundamental to cohesion policy and that its proper implementation is of the utmost importance. I welcome the measures taken by the Commission in this respect, but this does not mean that I do not see shortcomings in the promotion of the partnership principle. We need to address these - and one of the tools is the European Community of Practice on Partnership (ECoPP), which met twice last year. This is excellent and, I believe, useful. What have been the conclusions of these meetings so far, and how they will contribute to the practical implementation of the partnership principle?
