Meetings with National Parliaments
The European Parliament's Subcommittee on Human Rights (DROI) and the Committee on Legal Affairs (JURI) will jointly organise a hybrid interparliamentary committee meeting (ICM) with National Parliaments on 28 November 2022 on “Universal Jurisdiction - improving accountability for serious international crimes”.
The European Parliament's Subcommittee on Human Rights (DROI) and the Committee on Legal Affairs (JURI), in cooperation with the Legislative Dialogue Unit of the Directorate for Relations with national Parliaments, will jointly organise an inter-parliamentary meeting with National Parliaments on 28 November 2022 on “Universal Jurisdiction. Improving accountability for serious international crimes".
The European Parliament's Committee on Legal Affairs (JURI) organized on 25 April 2022, from 13.45 to 15.45, an Interparliamentary Committee Meeting (ICM) with National Parliaments on “The EU's Subsidiarity mechanism”.
The Subcommittee on Human Rights (DROI) and the Committee on Legal Affairs (JURI) will jointly organise an online inter-parliamentary meeting with National Parliaments on 21 April 2022 on “Corporate Responsibility for serious human rights abuses in third countries”. The Committee on International trade (INTA) is also associated to this event.
On 27 October 2020, from 13.45 to 15.45, the JURI Committee will hold an Interparliamentary Committee Meeting (ICM) with National Parliaments on "Better Law Making from a digital perspective". The aim of the meeting is to discuss the role that digitization plays in the legislative process and how to ensure that new legislation is in accordance with modern requirements. The meeting will be webstreamed.
